Led by his well-honed finger-picked folk rock style, the track showcases his deep vocal style drifting over a hook-laden instrumentation. True to the intimate theme of the album, which spans everything from breakups to being passed over for opportunities, we’re offered yet another glimpse of Tommy’s confessional musical style on ‘2300’ as he transforms his life experiences into soulful yet joyous anthems for each of us to sink into.
